January 20, 2012: T he connection to the Haul Road has been made. You can ski from the Stowe Rec Path up the hill via Pipeline, Lower Valley View and then either Triple Bypass or Adam's Camp Trail. We anticipate being able to continue grooming throughout the weekend.
December 30, 2011: Grooming operations have continuted the last couple of days. John and Brandon have been putting corduroy on both the Pasture Loop and the Lower Meadow. The Stowe Rec Path has also seen some grooming and is skiing well. We hope you were able to get out this week as there have been some absolutely beautiful ski days.
Don't forget that tonight is movie night at the Nordic Barn with a couple of ski films starting at 7pm!
December 27, 2011: We were able to get out yesterday and begin the grooming of our XC ski trails. We got the loops around the Pasture and the Lower Meadow packed down with the snow machine. Hopefully tonight and tomorrow we will be getting the snow we need to begin to put in some corduroy and track.
There are plenty of people skiing Smuggler's Notch and the Stowe Rec Path. Get out and enjoy Winter!
